Photography, Fort Collins, CO (Juror's selection)

The its particular interest in photography led him to take a camera, starting with landscapes, to get to his work on installations in nature, exposed through his photos at the Center for Book Arts in New York, the Governors Island Art Fairthe Eponymy Gallery in Brooklyn and Industria Superstudios in New York. In addition Jackson was named one of the Top 50 Critical Mass in 2012 and won the category "installation/still-life" of the PDN is the Curator in 2013.

Creating all my recent pictures are actual pictures, so instead of using PS for the composition of the picture, I used it only to remove items that should not be seen. The sculpture in this image (175 light poles are attached to a wire scaffolding) is real, and was photographed on the beach in Greenport, NY. I have used PS to remove the bracket that held the installation and to make some minor changes.

The end result  not differs from the image retouched,  of the original.
